74A was the shedcode in steam days for Ashford. Rolvenden on the Kent & East Sussex line was a sub shed of Ashford therefore locos stabled there also carried the 74A shedplate, a tradition which has carried on into the preservation era. Purchase 74A goods from this site and not only will you look fantastic (honest) but you will also help us keep the K&ESR Operating Website online. If sales exceed all expectations and actually earn us any extra funds, they will be donated to fund equipment for use by loco crews at Rolvenden.
